Sherbet is easiest to find around New York, where 61 stores within 50 miles listed it on Weedmaps on Oct 4, 2026, and Los Angeles (38); in all, 229 store listings in 19 of 27 markets. Only New York had at least 25 priced eighths, with a median of $40. The counts use a name rule that leaves out the other Sherbet-named strains it lists (see below).1

Sherbet in Germany
In Germany, cannabis is a prescription medicine dispensed by pharmacies. On Oct 3, 2026, weed.de's catalog of 2,150 medical cannabis products listed none made from Sherbet.9
How these numbers were collected
- Source: Weedmaps’ public product listings, captured on Oct 4, 2026 for one city per state, counting stores and deliveries within 50 miles and in the same state.1
- A menu item counts when its name contains "Sherbet", "Sherbert" or "Sunset Sherbet" (or "Sunset Sherbert") and it is sold as flower. Names with a listed flavor or strain word right before "Sherbet" or "Sunset Sherbet" (Rainbow, Orange, Blue, Gelato, Mint, Triangle, Fuji, Biscotti, Flan, Animal, Sour and dozens more), names with a two-digit number after it, and names with a listed word after it (Sherbet Cake, Sherbet OG, Sherbet Honey, Sherbert Sundae, a Bx backcross and others) are excluded, as are crosses written with x, pre-rolls and concentrates such as sauce. A "Cookies" prefix is allowed, because it usually names the Cookies brand.
- The rule excludes only the words it lists. Ambiguous names, such as a "Cookie" prefix that could be a brand or a cross, are counted, and a new strain name that pairs Sherbet with an unlisted word would be too, so the totals may run slightly higher than for Sherbet alone.
- "Median eighth" uses only items sold as an eighth (3.5 g). Listed prices may or may not include tax, and deals are not applied.
- Only stores with a Weedmaps menu are counted, so a low count can reflect Weedmaps coverage rather than the market.

The Montana gap
Montana is the gap. Leafly and The Marijuana Herald name Sherbert Montana’s best-selling strain, yet on Oct 4, 2026 no store within 50 miles of Billings listed it as flower on Weedmaps: these counts measure Weedmaps menus, not sales.1,2,3
Names you will see on menus
Menus use all four names: Weedmaps lists Sunset Sherbert, Cookie Fam Sherbet, Sunset Sherbet and Sherbert as other names for Sherbet, and Leafly adds Sherbert OG.4,5 Rainbow Sherbet, RS11 (Rainbow Sherbert #11) and Sherbet-named crosses such as Blue Sherbert are different strains (see genetics).6,7,8
